On 13 April, the books published by the Termini Research Network of the Hungarian Language in 2017 were presented in the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The following publications were in the focus of the event:  Tudományköziség és magyarságtudomány a nyelvi dimenziók tükrében (Interdisciplination and Hungarology in the Light of Linguistic Dimensions); Szélrózsa (Compass Rose); Őrvidéki házinevek (Bynames  in Őrvidék); Nyelvek és nyelvváltozatok térben és időben (Languages and Language Varieties in Space and Time); A magyar nyelv jelene és jövője (The Present and Future of the Hungarian Language).

László Csikós Molnár, teacher at the University of Novi Sad presented the book “Interdisciplination and Hungarology in the Light of Linguistic Dimensions” (editors: Attila Benő, Erika Gúti, Dezső Juhász, Szilvia Szoták, Erika Terbe and András Trócsányi). The book consists of three main parts: Interdisciplination and Hungarology in a Dimensional Linguistic Frame; Linguistic Diversity: The Present and Future of the Hungarian Language and Identity, Region and Nationality. Among others, the publication contains presentations delivered at the 8th International Hungarology Congress.

The book “Compass Rose” edited by Annamária Gróf, Anna Kolláth and Szilvia Szoták was presented by Orsolya Nádor, teacher of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. The publication contains the materials and presentations of the conference in Lendva (Lendava) in 2014. The booklet “Bynames in Őrvidék (Burgenland)” edited by Szilvia Szoták was introduced by Tamás Farkas (ELTE).

The publication of studies “Languages and Language Varieties in Space and Time” edited by Zoltán Karmacsi and Réka Máté was introduced by Ildikó Vančo, senior lecturer of the University of Constantine the Philosopher of Nitra. The publication is the fourth volume of the series edited by the Antal Hodinka Linguistic Research Centre (member of the Termini Research Network of the Hungarian Language).

At the end of the event, János Péntek, co-chairman of the Termini Research Network presented the language strategical writing “The Present and Future of the Hungarian Language” edited by Gábor Nagy Tolcsvai. The review of the book will be published by the Institute for Hungarian Language Strategy.
